THE FESTIVAL
TriSports Racing is pleased to present the 7th Annual Deuces Wild Triathlon Festival featuring the LARGEST RAFFLE IN TRIATHLON. The DeuceMan Triathlon will continue to be a part of the HalfMax National Championship Series. The Deuces Wild Triathlon Festival will consist of five races - an Olympic distance triathlon, a long course triathlon, an Aquabike, a youth duathlon and an off-road XTERRA America Tour triathlon. Last year was a huge success, so escape the heat and race with us!
All proceeds from the race will benefit various charities, especially the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Show Low Youth Recreation and Sports Foundation.
On Saturday, June 5th, the DeuceMan Long Course Triathlon and the Aquabike will begin the festivities by taking athletes around a scenic tour of the White Mountains. The Olympic Distance Triathlon will follow by taking athletes out of Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, through the city of Show Low and back into the Ponderosa Pines. Finish off the race day by participating or volunteering in our Youth Deuceathlon, a duathlon for the budding athletes!
The XTERRA Deuces Wild Triathlon will complete the weekend on Sunday, June 6th. The race is a part of the XTERRA American Tour where athletes can earn points toward becoming Regional Champions and qualifying for the XTERRA USA Championships in Nevada. With a growing reputation as one of the best races on the XTERRA Tour, the course provides a good mix of terrain and complexity.
Parts of these races take place on National Forest System lands.
You have to check out our Raffle Prize List (list will be updated as prizes are secured)! With over $32,000 in prizes given away in 2009, you could claim some sweet gear from a huge list of raffle donors. Last year we raffled out a set of Zipp wheels, a Kuota K-Factor bike, and a set of HED wheels, just to name a few, and you can expect the same quality prizes in 2010, as well. The raffle will take place on Saturday evening during the Saturday night dinner. If you are racing on one day, please consider volunteering on the day you don’t race. Or if you are tough enough, try the double and race on both days.
Please check back often for race information updates.
