TriSports Racing is introducing a new and exciting challenge to our race weekend for 2010! The Industry Cup is an opportunity for those in the triathlon industry to come together and pit their company against the competition to see who will come out on top, all while raising money for charity. The number one company gets to choose the recipient charity for the funds raised from the Industry Cup. Think your company is up for the challenge? Then check out the following guidelines:
- Each company must select 3 people to compete, one in each of 3 events – the DeuceMan Long Course, the Olympic Distance* and the XTERRA Deuces Wild.
- Each employee must have been employed directly by their company for at least 6 months (i.e., no pro ringers!). One member of the team must be a senior executive (Pres, VP, COO, CFO, CEO).
- The lowest combined time wins…it’s that simple!
Each team of 3 will cost $500. This covers entry to all 3 events, and all proceeds from these entries will be donated to the charity of the winning company’s choice. This would be a fantastic team-builder for your company – the training, the racing, the support – you don’t want to miss out! The White Mountains of AZ are beautiful in June, so make it a company retreat and head up to the pines.
*For an extra $100, a company can also enter a relay team in the Olympic Distance and have the option to use that time in their tally if it is faster than their individual member’s time.
To sweeten the deal….
Each team can select up to two of their sponsored pros to compete in the DeuceMan or Olympic Distance event at no additional charge. The benefit is bragging rights (my pro is faster than your pro)! It’s a great opportunity to spend some time with your pros!
Registration for the Industry Cup closes April 1, 2010!! Each team must submit a piece of a product from their product line (i.e., cross-section of a wheel, head tube from a bike, upper from a shoe, etc) to be used in the creation of the Industry Cup traveling trophy.
