XTERRA-specific Information

Physically Challenged Division - PC athletes may race in their choice of PC or age group.  If racing PC, they will not be eligible for age group awards. PC categories are further broken down by age divisions 15-39 and 40+, and by male and female.  Athletes competing in the PC division will not be eligible for age group prizes. Awards will be presented 3 deep in each category & age division.  PC athletes are eligible for XAT points.  PC categories are as follows: Handcycle (quadriplegic, paraplegic, double lower extremity amputee), Below Knee Amputee, Above Knee Amputee, Below Elbow Amputee, Above Elbow Amputee, Visually Impaired (legally blind - 20/200 with best correction), and Impaired (including but not limited to: Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Arthritis, Spina Bifida, Nerve damage, Retinitis Pigmentosa, and Multiple Sclerosis).

Special Award to Male & Female Amateurs with lowest combined XTERRA/DeuceMan and XTERRA/Olympic Distance time.

Raffle

With TriSports.com as title sponsor, you can be sure that the race raffle will be second to none!  The 2012 awards will start being posted mid-year, so keep checking back. Check out the 2011 list below to get an idea of what we gave away last year. Special thanks to all of our generous donors - all items are donated by the manufacturer of the product unless otherwise listed.

The main raffle will take place Saturday evening at Whipple Ranch Elementary School Gym.  If you are doing one of the races on Saturday and want to hang around for the raffle, we could always use more volunteers for the XTERRA triathlon on Sunday. Additional raffle tickets are available to be purchased at the venue and at the school until the raffle begins.  Each participant receives a single ticket good for the general raffle (items under $150). Additional tickets are available for purchase at $5 each for the bigger ticket items (items $150+), and you can select the items you want to be entered in to win.  Everyone is entered to win the bike!  You must be present to win.  Good luck!
